Having returned from their spiritual retreat to Fishfuj, Iowa, Jim and Sean are back with a new episode. Will they reveal the secret relationship between Bub and Bob? Is the toyshop in Toypop an allegory about the Russian Revolution? Listen and find out.
(Broken link in the original feed…sorry about that!)
We’re calling this “the next episode” because it’s not the previous episode. It’s also not the first episode nor the last episode, unless something REALLY weird happens. Look…it’s an episode. And we actually remembered to mention our RedBubble store.
One game is about kids who answer trivia questions and run through a chocolate and slime filled obstacle course. The other is about a New Jersey kid who moves to California and is bullied by martial arts jocks. What could the theme be? Only you, the listener, will find out.
So…an episode for your amusement! Prepare for a podcast! (See what we did there?) We swear, this is the absolute last episode we will be releasing this month. If you want another one, sorry; you’ll have to wait.
You like cars? Good. Vroooom!
Jim and Sean take a break from the usual arcade game talk and invite friends to join them in a discussion of socializing over online media before there was social media…or widespread Internet.
In this episode about a couple of somewhat obscure games, Jim discusses geology, whilst Sean waxes philosophical about parenthood. And games, too. Yeah, they both talk about games.
Happy April! It’s always a sunshine day when the Pie Factory Podcast brings you a new episode! This time, kick back with a couple of relaxing video games from the ’80s, following Jim and Sean through their adventures.
(Note: even though we at least twice mentioned the date we recorded this episode, we know that it’s easy to forget or not even notice, but…this episode was recorded before the stay-at-home orders were issued! We assure you we take our health and that of others seriously and as such we practice social distancing. Then again, it’s not much of a change of pace for either of us, given our social skills.)
Jim and Sean are back with a lively discussion of two arcade games. This time, both of the games have…color! And sound! And a control panel! It’s sure to set your RSS feed on fire!
It’s been a while since we did a one-off about the consoles we had. This time, Sean and Jim invite a special guest to help out, and God knows they desperately need that help.
