Hey guys–loving the show so far! Hate to beat the dead horse of Donkey Kong again, but I will anyway. I think it was on this episode you talked about a trick that can be used on the barrel stages–that of partially climbing a ladder to “touch” the upper girder, thereby preventing barrels from coming down the ladder.
That trick does exist, but it only works on one or more of what I would call the “also-ran” ROMsets. If you play the ROMset that most people play (i.e., Donkey Kong US Set 1) and you try this trick, you’re probably going to be… uh.. disappointed with the results. 🙂
